OUR PROCESS
As always, the process starts with a site visit. We need to see the condition of your staircase before we can go about updating it.
Next, we conduct a survey, where we figure out the necessary or desired alterations. From this survey, we start the working drawings.
Once the staircase has been designed, the next step is to confirm the finishes. We work with excellent suppliers, so quality is ensured. Staircases can be oiled, painted or even made out of glass.

On this project the existing dated staircase as modernised by cladding the newel posts and strings in oak, new oak base rails were added along with oak newel caps. The spindles were replaced with 8mm low iron toughened glass panels mounted on stainless steel glass clamps.
Yes we usually replace the base rail and hand rail then add 8mm toughened low iron glass panels on stainless steel patch fittings.
We can cladd existing painted or stained newel posts in oak on site.
